The main road that connects Den Haag proper to Scheveningen Beach is called Scheveningseweg. Visitors to Den Haag can rent bicycles in The Hague and enjoy a leisurely ride to the seashore. Specially designated red brick cycling lanes make the trip both safe and enjoyable.
It is also a pleasant (but long) walk to the North Sea from the Den Haag city centre, for those who prefer not to cycle. Fortunately, you'll be able to rest you feet on the tram that runs frequently between the two communities.
